This 25” inch snowman will delight you all winter long.  He is made of grubby white flannel and polyfil.  He has 2 eyes made out of “coal” and a “carrot” nose.   His mouth is made of tiny french knots.  Frosty is wearing a mustard wool scarf and a matching mustard plaid stocking cap with a tiny bell on the end.  He is holding a book of Shakespeare from the turn of the century so he looks like he is caroling.  He has three rusty bell buttons running down his chest.

This is a primitive scarecrow girl doll in her own pumpkin patch. Her body is two crossed pieces of wood lath with arms and legs made of tied hay. Her dress is made from lovely civil war reproduction fabric. She has a burlap harvest sack draped over her shoulder and its stuffed with witch’s broom cornstalk. Her head is stained and sanded osnaburg fabric and she has hand stitched features. She has a dyed brown stripe witch hat atop her head and a tiny pair of painted muslin high button boots at her feet. Even her best efforts could not stop a crow from perching on her arm.

Welcome the Halloween Spirits into your home with this festive ghost wreath.  The ghost is made from painted osnaburg stuffed with polyfill and draped in aged cheesecloth.  He even has a rusty chain dangling from his neck. 

The wreath measures 11 inches across and is wrapped in grungy black and white striped fabric.  The floral is a mix of both natural and faux drieds including astilbe, cat tail, witches broom corn stalk and more.  Just the right blend of seasonal color to balance it out.

This listing is a handmade horse pull toy. He has a grungy string mane and tail, a grubby wool saddle and tiny wooden bead eyes.  He even has a light tan diamond shape patch in the center of his nose. He is made from painted, sanded and stained muslin and rubbed with cinnamon. The body is stuffed with Polyfil.

The toy measures approximately 9 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 9 inches tall.  The horse has wooden dowel legs and four red wheels are nailed into an aged board. The twine rope has a grungy red ticking covered ball at the end.  Display him in your cupboard for an early farmhouse feel.

This listing is for a primitive early style toolbox with tools.  It has an aged paper label on both sides that reads “James Longshore Tahama Trunk Manufactory, Trunks, valises and bonnet boxes always on hand, wholesale and retail.  San Francisco.” 

The toolbox contains hardware for working on trunks including old pliers, a glass bottle with rag and cork stopper, a natural bristle wooden handle brush, a copper bristle wooden handle brush, a leather polishing rag, and a 10 inch painter style brush.  All the brushes have been sanded and aged, as well as the wooden toolbox itself.  There is also some rusty keys and lock tied to the handle with grubby twine.  It is a perfect addition to your log cabin, potting shed or covered wagon. 
The toolbox measures 11 inches long,  6 inches wide and 9 inches high.

This seasonal pumpkin doll just loves to hold her little pet lamb on her lap. She loves her lamb so much she is wearing a dark green fuzzy sweater made from his wool. She has antique button eyes and a hand stitched nose and mouth. A wool witches hat is perched on top of her head. Her homespun skirt is worn and faded green with beige plaid with a tiny patch.  She has a cheesecloth scarf and a pearly button brooch.  Her sweater has a hand stitched “x” pattern from collar to hem.

Her little lamb has rusty nail legs, black bead eyes and a rusty bell so she can easily keep track of him. The lamb can be displayed on the dolls lap or separately.

The Doll is 18 inches tall and made from painted stained and sanded osnaburg.
The Lamb is synthetic fur and painted and aged muslin and is 7 inches tall x 9 inches long.

He is stuffed with polyfill but has a little hay around his neck and tucked into his homespun overalls for an authentic seasonal look.  He is carrying a brown woolen sack stuffed with real  witch’s broom cornstalk for a splash of color.  He’s wearing a burlap sack hat and has a stitched nose, wool eyes and a flannel mouth.  He is a beautiful mix of autumn colors and textures  and is sure to bring a smile to your face every time you look at him.

Here are some other things I have made.

This is a handmade primitive one of a kind working pig pull toy.  The pig has a button nose, a curly rusty wire tail, floppy ears and a primitive lard label blanket tied with grungy string. The blanket reads “1896 Open Kettle Rendered Pure Hog Lard”. He is made from painted, sanded and stained muslin and rubbed with cinnamon.  The body is stuffed with Polyfil and is approximately 8.5 inches long from tail to snout. The pig’s legs are wooden dowels. Four yellow wheels are nailed into an aged board. The twine rope has a grungy red wooden ball knob at the end.  Display him in your cupboard for an early farmhouse feel.

This is a set of 5 primitive fall decorative gourds. They are handmade from painted, sanded, and aged muslin & osnaburg fabric for an authentic primitive look. The stems are made from real corn cobs and sticks and each gourd has a fall or Halloween themed tag attached.

These look great displayed alone or together as a center piece, on a mantle, in a basket, or along with your fall or primitive displays.

Height Measurements: green gourd:6”, red/brown gourd:5”, green/white gourd:6”, orange pumpkin:4”, red/white gourd:2”x3”. The heights do not include the stem. The corn shown in the images is not included.

Enjoy the whimsy of All Hallow’s Eve with this delightful scene on aged wood panel. It features a sliver of moon that highlights a crow taking flight on a witch’s broom. A jack o lantern sits atop a tiny bale of hay fastened with rusty wire and spooks the little black kitty who was passing by.

This display is made from painted aged and sanded muslin stuffed with polyfill, real hay and twigs, painted and sanded and stained wood and rusty wire. It looks great leaning against the wall or cupboard or there is a picture hanger on the back to hang it.

The panel measures 10 inches wide x 13 inches high with a depth of 1 inch.
